About this product

A management application for Spinneys Egypt. It shows where our network stands, what the governed competitor evidence says, which ten target markets have been screened, and what must still happen before any investment decision. It is a screening and readiness tool — it does not recommend, rank or approve.

The nine sections read as one story, from the Executive Briefing to Methodology & Data Quality. The Present button in the header opens the same story as a full-screen boardroom view.

One approved data release, v85-r1, generated from the controlled workbook v85 FINAL DECISION READY and validated before the owner approved it: 35 current stores, 10 target markets, 99 map-eligible locations and 160 source records. Nothing else is read, and nothing is fetched from the internet while you use it.

Every figure can be opened to show its source, what that source supports and does not prove, and the workbook cells behind it.

Competition Signal is a measure of competitor evidence, not investment attractiveness.

A bounded 0–100 measure of how much competitor evidence exists for a market: distinct brands, P0 brand presence and in-target rows, each weighted.

It is never used to order markets, never coloured as good or bad, and never combined into an overall score.

A point is drawn only when its governed record is map-eligible — a verified coordinate that passed every rule. An address, a search link or an area centre is never turned into a point. 298 records are kept off the map, and the Growth Map lists each one with its reason: corridor context, a rejected match, no numeric coordinate, a hold, or already shown through a governed point.

Competition + public population evidence can prioritize due diligence, but cannot by itself authorize a store opening. Final investment approval requires site economics and commercial demand inputs.

Rent, CAPEX, store format, sales forecast and margin are not in the approved release, so the application cannot — and does not — recommend an opening. The Decision Pathway 2030 shows exactly which evidence exists and which management inputs are still required.
